Meet Our Team
Our Osteopaths are degree educated healthcare practitioners, completing a minimum of 1000 clinic hours to qualify, as well as ongoing Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
Our Osteopaths are registered and regulated by the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), working to the Osteopathic Practice Standards (OPS).

Melissa Thorpe (She/Her)
Osteopath & Clinic Owner
Melissa qualified from the University College of Osteopathy, with a Masters of Osteopathy (Distinction) and gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Special Paediatric Osteopathic Practice (PGCert SPOP). She is qualified to work with babies, children and adults. Using a predominantly structural approach incorporating cranial osteopathy into her practice.
Melissa retrained as an Osteopath following a 20 year career as procurement professional, the change in direction was due to her interest in medicine and healthcare but definitely her positive experiences of osteopathic treatment to manage her MSK (musculoskeletal) issues.
Other training has included OCC Advancing Osteopathic skills in the cranial field, Level 5 BTEC sports massage, emergency first aid, mental first aid training and Professional, Practical, Proud: Transforming Trans Patient Care

Ann-Christin Wicke (She / Her)
Osteopath
Ann-Christin graduated from The London School of Osteopathy in 2015 with a Master's degree and received the Rising Star of Osteopathy Award from the Institute of Osteopathy the same year.
She has completed two years of postgraduate study in classical osteopathy, as well as as training with the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy. Ann-Christin has also worked as a clinic supervisor at the London School of Osteopathy, she continues to examine and lecture there. She is qualified to work with babies, children and adults. She is confident with both structural and cranial techniques and tailor each treatment to the individual needs of my patients.
Other training has included Bump to Baby, Unsettled Baby and Importance of Movement from Infant to Teen courses by Miranda Clayton and Psychosomatic Osteopathy by Torsten Liem.
Outside of work, I enjoy pilates, knitting, watching shows like The Traitors, Pottery Throw Down or Grand Designs and love trips to see National Trust houses with my husband and two young children.
