INFECTION CONTROL

As a practice we have stayed up to date with all relevant healthcare setting policies and procedures for infection control, and these have determined the way in which we will be running the clinic.  This is to provide some reassurance and to describe what measures have been put in place to keep you safe. We also have some expectations from you, our service users, to ensure we maintain the safest possible environment.

The clinic area will be cleaned before and after each patient.  The practitioner will wash their hands before each patient and may wear relevant Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) not limited to clinic gloves and or face mask.

It is imperative that you please read all the information before you attend your appointment.

What we do for you

  • Maintaining the safest clinic environment with stringent cleaning protocols within the clinic room and wider clinic.

  • Wear appropriate PPE

  • Minimising contact between you and other visitors.

  • Staying up to date with guidelines that impact our practice and the public health.

What you do for us

  • Face coverings are optional in healthcare, but feel free to bring one for your appointment.  If there has been increase in flu, cold or Covid rates locally we may ask you to wear one for the appointment.

  • If you or any members of your household display any symptoms of the flu, severe cold or covid, or other forms of sickness please call to rearrange your appointment.

Thank you for your patience and understanding
